OrthoReach 2025: Huge Success!

The departments 'OrthoReach' team held the annual OrthoReach event on March 22nd, 2025! This event was a huge success and was our biggest yet! The event was held on campus and 60 students were able to participate and learn from our amazing staff and leaders. This event was special as we were able to provide top class trainings and learning sessions for our participants, and we provided them with a pair of their very own Figs scrubs! During this event, students were able to participate in sawbones, suturing and other sessions while also going through informational panels and casting exercises. During lunch, we held a panel with the entire group that allowed for real time Q&A and valuable information sharing with the students. The day was filled with a lot of laughs, learning and experience for our participants. We also used this time to grab survey data to help improve our future events and make it possible to mentor these students as they look to break into the world of Orthopaedic Medicine.
