The University of Chicago Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine is a recognized leader in orthopaedic medicine. Our program is one of the top in the nation, and growing every year.

Providing excellent clinical care is directly tied to research and to educating future ortho surgeons today. Basic, clinical, and translational research in orthopaedic science inspires us to create new knowledge and innovative approaches to treatments.
